Releasing my ‘Back to Normalism’ print series

Finally, I’ve developed my ‘Back to Normalism’ print series that I’ve been working on a while. ‘Back to Normalism’ is a series of works that speak of the post-pandemic world, culture, and are my best way of summing up the times we’re in. I am making available a limited number of 20 of each work,Continue reading “Releasing my ‘Back to Normalism’ print series”

‘I’m not human anymore’

‘I’m not human anymore’ (2024/25, mixed media on paper, 140x100cm) I am genuinely incredibly happy with this work. Yet, it feels tiny, no matter how big I made it and how shoulder injuries I get making it, the work feels smaller and smaller. My vision no longer has eyes, not in quite the same wayContinue reading “‘I’m not human anymore’”

New line of prints

Really happy to share that I’ve now got these limited edition signed A1 prints for sale. They do great justice to two of my most cherished works. I am doing an edition of just 7 of each – I prefer odd numbers. They are £55 (including p&p) each. Comment or DM me if you’re interested Continue reading “New line of prints”

‘NEW BRUTALITY’ (2024, mixed media on paper)

This is ‘NEW BRUTALITY’  Sorry for being trapped in the 20th century dealing with the 21st. Historicide/”Who made the monster?”

I admit this new drawing isn’t a cause for personal celebration. It’s a completion of a series of works spanning the last few years, that I wish to see the end of now, begging for a closure of a wound through which the works have spoken. I once thought this was just self-dislike, but it’sContinue reading “Historicide/”Who made the monster?””

Monochrome takes on works from the last 10 years.

Around ten years ago it began to become seem necessary to introduce elements of colour variation into my drawings. Before this time they nearly entirely monochrome. I lost sight of the qualities of Monochrome, that colour can often compete with the context. Sometimes this works really well, but sometimes it doesn’t, and I guess there’sContinue reading “Monochrome takes on works from the last 10 years.”

Retrieval

I’m fully aware that buying back a work that you sold to somebody, when you don’t have much money yourself, still looks like more money than sense. But long story short, “I want none of this” from 2010/11, is one of my most important works, and also a work that the now/then-owner had no realContinue reading “Retrieval”
